Your wedding ceremony is the only aspect of the day that truly matters. It is the reason for the day. Make it personal and meaningful to you. You are marrying the love of your life!

All ceremony options are available for either weddings or civil unions and may be secular, spiritual, or non-denominational. If you desire special elements not listed don’t hesitate to ask. It’s not a problem so don’t be shy. 

If you want to secure my services and prefer a chapel setting, please contact Quaker churches, United Methodist churches, and Unitarian Universalist churches as they will rent their space to accommodate couples who want to bring their own officiant.

I travel to your location and I have my own PA system so your ceremony will be heard. You do not need to rent a mic. Ceremony supplies are included in the ceremony fee and are described in each ceremony description. I hand-deliver local certificates to the municipality on the next business day and for those municipalities that are too far, I mail them priority mail with receipt confirmation. I will follow-up with you in the days after your wedding with specific information on how to obtain your own official copies of your marriage certificate.

THE ROMANTIC LOVE LETTER CEREMONY $420.00 

 

If you want a truly romantic ceremony this is the one for you! In the days before your wedding, the couple writes a letter to their beloved sharing the reasons they want to spend the rest of their life with the other. These letters are sealed and the contents are known only to the person who wrote them. On your first anniversary, and every anniversary thereafter, either read them to each other or exchange your letters to bring you right back to the day you made your big commitment. This ceremony has a high level of personalization. A truly personal ceremony that establishes a romantic anniversary tradition. This ceremony includes a handcrafted Love Letter Box (made by yours truly) to hold your letters as a daily visual reminder of the promises you make. They are very pretty. Please note I need a minimum of one week to make your box.

THE HAND-FASTING CEREMONY $400.00 

This ceremony is a marriage of old and new marriage traditions. It combines the old tying of the knot with a modern twist. In the old days the hand-fasting was binding for a year and a day only. This one is for keeps! 

This ceremony includes handcrafted hand-fasting cords (also made by yours truly) that work well with my signature tying of the knot. Couple may supply their own cords with the understanding that I may not be able to use my usual signature knotting. My signature manner of making and tying the knots, results in a lovely design for display as a daily visual reminder of your wedding vows. Time permitting, color choices can be made to match your bridal party or based on what you like. The cords are delicate and lovely with crystal accents and charms. Please note I need a minimum of one week to make your cords.

THE SEA SHELL UNITY SAND CEREMONY $400.00

Getting married on the beach? High level of personalization, the Shell and Unity Sand Ceremony honors your choice of beach location or beach-themed weddings. While this component can be exclusively shared by the couple, it also allows couples to include children, parents, or other family or friends to participate in the ceremony in a fun way. One glass vase or bowl and shells are included in this ceremony for the couple to take home as a keepsake. Couple is responsible for buying colored sand or uses sand from the beach. This ceremony includes fancy shells to represent the couple and their Unity Sand participants. Couple keeps completed vase as a keepsake. (The smaller pouring vessles are provided for ceremony purposes only and are not sent home with the couple.)

UNITY SAND CEREMONY $400.00 

 

The Unity Sand Ceremony is a perfect option to honor a beach location or as a replacement for a Unity Candle Ceremony in either indoor or outdoor settings. High level of personalization, this ceremony is a wonderful way to include children, parents, or other family members, or can be for the couple only. One glass vessel is included in this ceremony for the couple to take home as a keepsake. The smaller pouring vessels are provided for ceremony purposes only and are not sent home with the couple.

The Drinking of the Wine and The Breaking of the Glass Ceremony $400.00

This ceremony is perfect for a couple where one is Christian and the other is Jewish. The wine and breaking of the glass are beautiful additions to marry both faiths. The ceremony can be non-denominational or secular in nature depending on the couple’s preferences. Three wine glasses are included in this ceremony. Couple is responsible for supplying the stomping glass. (A light-bulb in a plastic bag and wrapped in a pillow case will make a nice popping sound.)

PAGAN, WICCAN, OR NATURE BASED WEDDING CEREMONY $400.00

This is the ceremony for couples who want a spiritual and nature imbued wedding experience. A formal religious ceremony within the sacred circle including a handfasting, sword and chalice, and jumping the broom options. The handfasting cords are included in this ceremony as a keepsake. The other supplies such as the chalice, sword and broom are included for ceremonial purposes only and are not gifted to the couple.

THE LOVELY WEDDING CEREMONY $350.00

This ceremony is meaningful and lovely. This is the ceremony to choose if you’d like to share your story but do not want any special additional features such as a  hand-fasting component, etc, as described in the above ceremony options. You will have options for readings or verse, and for the vow and ring exchange. It’s a lovely ceremony.

WEEKDAY ELOPEMENTS $300.00  
This option is for sweethearts who want to elope on a week day. This ceremony option offers a meaningful prewritten secular ceremony especially for those couples who prefer an intimate wedding with no more than 4 guests, two of which may serve as witnesses. If you won’t have any guests, I’ll assist you in finding two individuals to witness the ceremony, which is a NJ requirement. Strict adherence to 4 guests total. If there will
be more than 4 guests, please choose the Lovely Wedding Ceremony option or one of the other above options.

*Regarding Rehearsals:

Generally, having your officiant at your rehearsal is one expense you can do without. I have a Wedding Rehearsal Guide that I will provide you with so you can still have your rehearsal dinner if you’d like to run through it with your bridal party. It spells the procedure out step-by-step.  If we are under contract, I send it to you as your wedding day approaches. If you prefer me to be there, and if I am available, my rehearsal fee is $150.00 for the first hour. So long as everyone is present on time, it is something we can run through within the hour. 

Holiday Dates: Christmas Day and Eve, New Years Day and Eve, and Thanksgiving. All Ceremonies $600.00 plus travel fees as applicable.
